Senior running back Gennaro Leo followed sophomore fullback Frank Nuzzo's 1-yard touchdown run with an improbable 2-point conversion rush to propel Everett to an 8-7 victory over Bridgewater-Raynham yesterday in the MIAA Division 1 Super Bowl.

A-B 27, WAKEFIELD 7
A-B earns title
Acton-Boxboro had advanced to the Super Bowl in six of the past seven seasons, but its only victory was over Stoneham in 1994. Yesterday's victory snapped a three-year losing streak and avenged a loss to Wakefield in 1999.
