US can't complain about grouping
It could have been worse. They could have been dumped in the Group from Hell along with Argentina. They could have been offered up as lunch to the Italians and Croats, or sent up to play the Germans in remote Sapporo. ''Any group would have been fine with us,'' said coach Bruce Arena, after the US men's soccer team drew Portugal, Poland, and cohost South Korea for next summer's quadrennial World Cup.
