Numbers could crunch BCS system
If Tennessee beats LSU, there will be some grumbling, but it will be only a murmur and people will get over it quickly. If LSU wins, the BCS becomes b.s., pure and simple, because there is no defense for having Nebraska - a team that didn't win its own division (the Big 12 North) - play for a national championship while a once-beaten conference champ such as Oregon is shut out of the game and a hot team like Colorado sees a team it destroyed two weeks ago get such a huge opportunity.
