CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. AT EVERY Nov. 10 birthday, the Corps celebrates precisely. The oldest Marine gives a slice to the youngest and talks about tradition. The first cake, baked in 1937, was in the shape of the Philadelphia tavern where the Marine Corps was born in 1775.
