Breakers waive six

he Boston Breakers yesterday waived six of their players, who will be available for the WUSA waiver draft tomorrow afternoon.

Those waived include midfielders Elie Foster, Sherice Bartling, and Florence Omagbemi, forward Meotis Erikson, and defenders Becky Hogan and Kim Calkins. The reserve players - Jen Tissue, Rebecca Hornbacher, and Holly Manthei - also go into the draft. The players could be re-signed by the Breakers or invited to try out with the team.

The Breakers will have the third pick in the draft.
