Easton: ''Holiday Festival and Parade''- Town Square, (the Rockery), Barrows Street. Dec. 1, 8-11 a.m. breakfast and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. a holiday craft fair in the Oakes Ames Memorial Hall on Barrows Strreet. Dec. 1-2, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. In the Rockery (historical town square) thousands of lights, trees and a miniature Victorian village on display. In addition, two heated tents will feature Santa Claus in one and live entertainment in the other. The event also features ice scuptures, hayrides, train rides, an Eye Mobile free clinic, a moonwalk and food vendors. Dec. 1, 6 p.m. Santa arrives on a firetruck to help countdown to the lighting of the Rockery. The Children's Museum on Sullivan Avenue will provide entertainment, craft activities and a children's gift shop with items priced $1-$3. The Easton Historical Society on Mechanic Street will be open Dec. 2, noon-4 p.m. On Dec. 2 at 1 p.m., the annual parade begins at the junction of Route 138 and Main Street. Hanover: ''Christmas Celebration of Lights''- Cardinal Cushing Centers at Hanover, 405 Washington St. Dec. 2, 6:30 p.m. (raindate Dec. 3, 6:30 p.m.) An ecumenical celebration featuring choir, interfaith narration of the Christmas story, (signing for hearing impaired), a candlelight walk and lighting of 15,000 lights. Norwell: South Shore Natural Science Center - The center on Jacobs Lane has a nature store, six trails, and a lending library. Ongoing at the center: Watch the naturalist on duty feed the animals Wednesdays, 3-4 p.m., and Saturdays, 10:30-11:30 a.m.; free with admission. Parents and Tots Wednesdays 9:30-10:45 a.m. After School Nature Programs (for grades 1-4) Thursdays 4-5 p.m. Wednesday Walks, leisurely walks in woods, by the pond, and to Jacobs Farm, for parents and children on Wednesdays 9:30-10:45 a.m. Building admission is $2, $1 children 3 and older. Brockton: Fuller Museum of Art - 455 Oak St. Through Dec. 2, ''Mark Dion: New England Digs,'' exhibit of artifacts found in recent digs done for the exhibit in Brockton, Providence, and New Bedford. Through Dec. 2, selections from the FMA Permanent Collection featuring master works by New England area artists from the late 19th century to present.
